Mr Wimar Witoelar was interviewed by Kontan Daily newspaper (Indonesian business paper – www.kontan-online.com) at PESTA BLOGGER 2007, Jakarta claimed :
” This event emphasizes the identity of Indonesian blogs compared to its neighbouring countries. Indonesian blogs contain more opinions and views. As you know, there is no limitation here as in others. Bloggers in Malaysia and Singapore are not free, the contents are more of facts than individual views”
I think Mr Witoelar should not make the comment if he doesn’t have his facts right. Bet bloggers in those countries will have a lot to say! Silence is gold .. sometimes. In this case, it is spot on.
